I did delete it but it still kicks me for consistency.

sound scripts for weapons and physics. i renamed the folder so they wont load but i still have problems with custom maps. i dont have contra and it wont let me dl it. i get kicked for consistency. . its probably the same with other maps too.

I have custom sounds and can't connect. I tried disabling them but I still get kicked for inconsistency on custom maps regardless if they are the right map or I delete them. Is there any chance of setting sv_pure so it lets people with custom stuff connect without renaming folders? The server would still be pure but it would be more convenient for certain users.

goto cstrike/sounds/radio (create it if its not there) and make a new text file and name it ct_fireinhole.wav. you can also extract cstrike/scripts/game_sounds_radio.txt from the GCF with GCFscrape and change: Radio.FireInTheHole { channel CHAN_VOICE volume 1 soundlevel SNDLVL_75db wave radio/ct_fireinhole.wav } to... Radio.FireInTheHole { channel CHAN_VOICE volume 0 soundlevel SNDLVL_75db //or comment the sound out wave radio/ct_fireinhole.wav } this is more interesting if you wanna modify other sounds
