i would say that the person whom I was the most shocked at was "cranky bullfrog" I expected something totally different..dunno why, just did...maybe it was the name that threw me off b/c he gets the award for most laid back and he was calm the whole time. Awesome guy.

To all those present at FragFest this year, you are sure to have come away with some great memories of one man inparticular...our very own Village Idiot brother...Rooster. I have noticed many of you have quotes from him from FF in your sigs, just wondering what your favorite memory was or favorite Roo quote: "I WORK IN STEEL!!!" Rooster and I were in the Holiday Inn Xpress lobby...i was on my cell talking (its about 4 am) and Rooster comes walking in and sees a huge wreath above the fireplace. Attached to the wreath is a bunch of plastic fruit (apples, pears, etc) so Rooster, being hungry and thinking they are real tries to pull the wax fruit off the wreath and screams at it when they wouldn't pull off. So, since he got denied/pwnt by the wax fruit wreath, he sees a ceramic squirrel on the hearth and exclaims "I'm gonna steal this ceramic squirrel." he sticks it up his shirt and walks nonchalantly out of the lobby with it protruding from his shirt as he walks away whistling. LOL "I'm gonna punch the first person I see when I walk into the Holiday Inn Lobby, I don't care if she is 8 years old working behind the desk" Tah-Da!

i won't be in a hotel on thursday, i'll be crashing that nite with watch/trouble either on the floor or couch, cuz we gots to be at lancaster early friday since we are all staff ya know...check with her and see if there is room at the inn for swoop

Update on a Gold Sponsor: Corsair cannot give out more hydrocool systems per upper level management. However, to remain at Gold Sponsor Status they are giving us two sets of TwinX 1024-3200XLPRO memory, along with the tshirts, mousepads, posters, case badges and ink pens they have already donated. So, no hydrocool system, but they still hooked us up phat, plus I think more people might get more use out of new memory than a hydrocool system. But anyway, see ya'll next week!

Also, playaa...[VI] Chewbacca is wanting to come to FF...since you're still coming with no pc, could he come with his machine and split the cost of FF with you and you both could play on his machine (or you could play on mine too) it dont matter. tutt was making the arrangements to get discounted hotel rooms, get with him. I think rooster is paying for one of the rooms so ask him whats up...I would imagine VI are welcome to shower and chill

well, VI is gonna have a couple of hotel rooms for people to nap and shower, but since there is gonna be about 20 of us there, I doubt you'll have problems finding a VI at the place

For all those who are interested, I would like to update you on where we stand regarding sponsors for this event which is approaching quickly. If you have not been checking out what we have already, go to the FragFest site...you should all know the address by now, if not its FRAGFEST! The majority of the stuff has already been shipped in to me and is sitting in Columbus, Ohio right now. The other half is at my home in Kentucky. We only have a few sponsors who have not sent in their donations yet, but are sending them fairly soon. I just got merchandise from wolfpcsystems, Intel and Hackerthreads. Corsair will be donating their stuff the end of this month and I look for the rest to send early in July, such as Ideazon and Shattered Web and PHAM. Good news is, every attendee will walk away with something. Granted, not everyone can get the big items, but everyone will have a BAF hat and coupons from Cableorganizer.com, Razer and Xbags. We got very lucky this year considering it was the first extensive sponsorship search for FragFest and we found so many companies willing to be a part of this LAN. ya, laugh at me when I have $200 extra bones!! Oh, and what brought this on: Our local community bookstore called University Book & Supply (UBS) has this promo they send out postcards to everyone with a pic of Abe lincoln on the $5 bill with shades on, saying they will give you an extra $5 on your book buyback. So, thats what brought this on. I just went in to sell books back to them today and after talking with the ladies there, they just up and offered this job to me and when I heard $200...that was money in tha bizzank!!
