Kirk was born in that timeline.

Not true...only the survivors (and not all) and a couple infected had agreed and participated. Read the pictures of the logs I posted. I didn't even know they had even discussed this as I was wondering why everyone was standing on the helipad with no helicopter. Once I looked at the logs, that was when I saw they wanted to play suicide charger dodgeball. This is what tinkled me off which is that I had no idea this was going on till it was too late. I've read a couple posts in the past from other admins that say Suiciding is never OK, no matter what the situation. So why is this considered ok? It's just another form of suicide, just with a challenge. Even if an admin says it's ok, is it still right? This issue of conflicting admin rules says that the admins haven't truly decided on if this should be allowed or not. I'll give another situation. Snake Eyes was on my team for Blood Harvest the other night. We were at the very end of "Train Station" where you have to cross the long bridge to get to the saferoom inside the train. We were all doing fine and Snake Eyes decided he wanted to stay out a bit and kill more infected. We all yelled for him to get inside, and he starts dodging chargers. Then he proceeded to jump off the bridge. No one complained because we were winning by a lot. But does that make it right? Is that a bannable offense? Yes. I didn't report it as I'm tired of reporting GC members when they should know the rules. And I don't like being looked at as the sour puss. Just because we were winning and no one complained still doesn't make it right. That's the point of this thread. There are some "open" rules about what's allowed and what isn't and that's why I wanted to bring this up. There will always be discussions about this if the rules on these types of situations are not established in writing on the forums or elsewhere.

In my opinion I think it was meant for those who missed their target or spit from a far distance and miss. This way they can suicide instead of running all the way to the survivors to die because while they're alive they are holding those SI. There used to be enable Ghost Form (I think it's still on the menu but still disabled) that could eliminate this issue? Not sure why it's still disabled, but I figured it may come in handy but could still work the same as a suicide if ppl exploit it like you can with suicides. Maybe Jackie can code it so that you can only use it when not attacking (ie not in the middle of a charge or a "launch")

Ya this is what I was telling you about earlier Chick...don't leave open trust to anyone on the server when you make that mall. People do steal stuff, and as you've seen, lots of new - random - people show up, maybe because skeli and creeper are promoting the server to their friends, or whatever. I think we need to make a sticky thread for members post in when they want to join the server, just so we know who everyone is. This way we aren't on the server going "Who is that?" because our names don't match our usernames in-game (most of us).

I've already tried to suicide boom....I was successful landing between a ton of people...but when I bought the suicide, nothing happened, no one was boomed even though I exploded. I believe the same thing happens with spitter too....no spit is left behind under your corpse if you suicide. Only the charger suicide is the one that works, but there was a thread about this a while ago, and it's bannable.

True but once they know how to follow server rules, I would avoid it for now. We've already had issues in the past with them destroying or taking things that don't belong to them. Chick doesn't know about their history so I'm just being informative.

Not actively, but I play it here and there. Wouldn't mind leveling up with friends or farming for gear here and there.

I'm just continuing this from the other thread that was locked. There seems to be a lot of discussion about it, and I still think it is an issue. I'm not saying that even admins are wrong, but according to Jackie, this type of play by the survivors is pretty much the same as suicide. What are some of the other things we do in-game that could be considered griefing or bannable that admins sometimes let us do? Or should I ask what do people do when admins aren't online that we know isn't allowed but happens anyways? I'm not trying to stir up anything, I just want to see what is acceptable and what isn't, because it seems some of us think certain things are OK and certain things aren't...and even some admins are in disagreement.

Next time he's online, I'm just gonna keep standing near him, and spin in circles.
