I never had a problem with crashing until I upgraded my video card, pfffff. Disable multi core rendering for your video card. I think it was Gandalf who told me to do that. Haven't crashed since.

i actually had the black screen last night and couldn't get out of it either

yup a few times now, except no sound at all. never had the issue before until the recent windows 10 upgrade....
