Nice finds u people. Really interesting about everything thats going on. I posted a lot of this stuff over at www.aixgaming.com which u all should check everyday as Hood finds all the newest stuff on the internet. They were recently just mentionen by PENNY ARCADE .

They are really looking at the verificaition details of the game. This might enable people to released hacked versions which cause Valve to LOSE money. Terrible this is. Yes, the source code that has been posted is the HL-2 source code. Here is what we know: 1) Starting around 9/11 of this year, someone other than me was accessing my email account. This has been determined by looking at traffic on our email server versus my travel schedule. 2) Shortly afterwards my machine started acting weird (right-clicking on executables would crash explorer). I was unable to find a virus or trojan on my machine, I reformatted my hard drive, and reinstalled. 3) For the next week, there appears to have been suspicious activity on my webmail account. 4) Around 9/19 someone made a copy of the HL-2 source tree. 5) At some point, keystroke recorders got installed on several machines at Valve. Our speculation is that these were done via a buffer overflow in Outlook's preview pane. This recorder is apparently a customized version of RemoteAnywhere created to infect Valve (at least it hasn't been seen anywhere else, and isn't detected by normal virus scanning tools). 6) Periodically for the last year we've been the subject of a variety of denial of service attacks targetted at our webservers and at Steam. We don't know if these are related or independent. Well, this sucks. What I'd appreciate is the assistance of the community in tracking this down. I have a special email address for people to send information to, helpvalve@valvesoftware.com. If you have information about the denial of service attacks or the infiltration of our network, please send the details. There are some pretty obvious places to start with the posts and records in IRC, so if you can point us in the right direction, that would be great. We at Valve have always thought of ourselves as being part of a community, and I can't imagine a better group of people to help us take care of these problems than this community. Gabe

I downloaded it on friday and needed a cd-key to play online . From what I hear there is no option for a dedicated server so my friends over at aixgaming can't setup a server . I lagged a little bit in single player mode with my Ti4600 but I still played it for a lil while. I MAY buy it.

Hello all YET again. I have an incident that I would like "Ghost" to respond to if at all possible. Our clanmate "Shinji" was again playing in Fightclub when u banned him. He was under the name "Connected". He informed me that he followed all the rules and never said anything derogatory towards yourself or any player or clanmate. You banned him after he wallspammed u in rafters on Nuke which I think is fairly not nice seeing as its very possible to do. Maybe u haven't ever seen it before but its possible to do it as T jumping to the rafters and spamming the vents right where the guy comes up from ladder. The problem is you don't hear the AK spam and u get hurt and can be killed. I would like to request and unban on his part since he did absolutely nothing wrong except kill you. Any clarification on this one yet Mmmm people on why i was banned? This is all I ask for and whether its a timed ban which I shall serve or a permanent but for what was for is what I would like to know? I apologize if I did do anything wrong but I don't normally. 40 views and still know one responds? Also just as another pointing out. I was just informed by Shinji that Magruter had banned him for doing nothing. The map was scoutknivez and Magruter asked Shinji (Who was under alias) was. He responded by saying Shinji but Magruter continued to Perm ban him. You do not have to unban him but I, as a clanmate, would just like to know the reasoning behind the ban. He claimed to have said absolutely nothing derogatory or broke the rules so there must have been an alterior motive to ban him. *edit* Mr. X got to this one while I was typing to respond. Thx tho for proving me innocent. But I would still like a response from Magruter about why shinji was banned.

Hello all. I tried logging onto Tropolis this morning and it said I have been banned. I don't remember ever getting banned by an admin while in game. Maybe it might have been done remotely? I'm not to sure. If its a timed ban for something then I would just like to know what it is for and will serve it out as it is. I don't know if it is permanent or not. Your not being mean to me at all DJ . I rly wanted u to listen to it and tell me what u thought and being critical about it is how u have to do it. Your right this kid is 19 and is rly just doing this for fun and his own enjoyment. Your critical commentary of what 75% of the stuff that comes out today is actually quite true. I fins myself listening to DI Radio and granted all of these songs have a sif producer, the actual sound in certain songs sounds the same. I believe that is what you are trying to say. EVerything in essence sounds alike. I understand its a happy tune and its meant to make u feel good. But your critical commentary is what counts. I wanted u to listen because I knew u have been around this type of music for a long time and had a good general knowledge of the background. I remember this from speaking with u. I'm not down for the super happy stuff like u saud but I tend to like some of it. I've been in this sort of "chillout" funk mode and have been listening to a lot of that. If its not chillout its hard trance. I appreciate your commentary and appreciate u taking time to listen to his 3 small tracks. Hes got a few supporters who are already liking what hes doing. Digitally imported is your best bet. Other than that a lot of the stuff on mp3.com isn't worth your time to download except for anything by "T R A N C E [] C O N T R O L" A lot of their stuff is rly good. But DI is your best bet to listen to some good music. Streaming isn't terrible so I am curious as to why u don't like streaming? Digitally imported is THE best there is. They have like 9 Dif streams for your fav generes. I'm personally getting into the "Chillout" mood now since the music sounds so kickin. But other than this kids stuff I don't know. Look for any Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, DJ Ciacomix, DJ Irish. The problem is that most DJ's just mix music from what others make. My DI Trance folder is like 18 gigs. But its filled with all random artists but all of it u can hear in mixes.

rofl camel man. Ciacomix, Irish, OLD PVD, OLD OAKENFOLD, Some old Sasha and Digweed stuff are very good. I have seen tiesto live and while his stuff is incredible hes not the best there is. Everyone has their own favorite DJ who mixes the stuff he loves. You have to realize Tiesto isn't the one making the tracks. Hes just mixing what other people do into his mixes. Granted Silence by Delerium was and still will be one of my favs of all time, he just mixed the track and did not create it. His double CD "Nyana" is very good but he did not produce all the tracks on that cd. THIS KID IS 19 YRS OLD AND HES DOING THIS ALREADY WITH WHAT RESOURCES HE HAS AVAILABLE ON HIS LAPTOP. He doesn't have money to go into a recording studio and start mixing his own tracks. He does all of this on his school laptop. Way to go making yourself look like a jackass having beef with a 19 yr old trying to make some music for people to enjoy. Just as an FYI, he has a lot of supporters behind him already but i'm sorry u only listen to known peoples stuff. Hint sir camel, a lot of the better trance is not known by most people regardless of the mainstream DJ's everyone knows about. Go brush up your knowledge. You wanna talk to someone who knows a lot about trance and techno talk to DJ until then take your sarcastic donkey comments away from here because your the only person who has a gripe about a 19 yr old kid doing something he loves to do. Why don't u go and try and make some trance music for us to listen to?

Its not me doing it its a friend of mine. I don't know him as well as a clanmate but were friends and we have hung out before. This is his first time foing this so take that into credit like I said. WHERES SILLY DJ!!
