I'll have to try the microwave trick. Maybe that's what I'm missing. Feta is what makes it taste incredible. I had never had feta until recently and it is an amazing cheese. The best part about gyro's I think is that they aren't that bad for you. Especially if you have chicken...everything in there (including the sauce) is healthy.

I have no idea about the stock market as a whole...but Apple is expected to announce new laptops (possibly a sub-$1000 Macbook) next week and I can guarantee that their stock will jump from that. It always does. They opened today at $85/share but are now at $92/share. Making small gains is still profiting. Sadly I don't even have enough savings to make it worthwhile.

Peter wants Sylar's ability because he wants to be able to understand what is going to end the world, therefore being able to stop it (which just means that the Heroe's writers will make the world need saving again in some other way). The simple worst part about this show is that the writers don't have the balls to kill characters because it would mean that they would lose out on their star actors (hence the reason Nicki/Jessica/Tracy is still around).

So I have fallen in LOVE with gyro's...these things are INCREDIBLE! (mostly because of the Feta cheese) and if you eat them with chicken instead of beef or lamb there is pretty much not a single thing in these that is bad for you. I've been trying to make them on my own at home and I'm doing a pretty good job of it so far, my only problem is finding the right kind of pita. I don't like my gyro's when they are stuffed inside the pita...I am looking for the kind of pita that you can fold around the gyro (looks very similar to the shell on a Taco Bell Gordita). I have tried a couple different brands but none of them work. The closest one I've found is a brand called "Kangaroo" but it still has the problem of breaking in half when folded. Anyone got any help? Recipe's for good Tzatziki? (I prefer it to humus)

Also your Macbook Pro may not recognize more than 3gb on it's own depending on what version it was. Mine which is the one right before the LED backlit screens has 2x2gb installed but only recognizes 3 due to the bus...or taxi or something.

The reason I'm looking to see if anyone has a hookup is that purchasing MRE's from the military (something you can only do if you are in the military or used to be) costs just a little more than $50 a case (12 MRE's). Buying them online you're going to pay $70-$100 a case...and then you have to make sure you're getting the military issue ones.

Anyone got the hookup?

I, for one, welcome our shiny new metallic overlords. Back on topic though, I have a question. I have a bootcamp partition set up that I rarely use. The last time I booted into it was quite awhile ago. I do, however, use it occasionally to run Parallels with. Occasionally (I'd say 1 out of 3 boots) this partition takes a long time (2-5 minutes) to recognize within OS X and mount on my desktop. When it is doing this, my entire machine is sloooooow until it finally recognizes it then it runs just fine. Anyone ever had a problem like this? I've removed and re-added the partition twice now (not for this issue though) and each time the issue manifests itself again. Who'd have thought that my Mac would slow down when I introduced it to Windows.

Someone explain "value funds" please. My new coworker happened to be transferring all his company stock from his previous job when the market went crappy last week. He had it all in the bank at that time by pure chance. When he put it back into the market he made over $12k on that first day. Unfair.

Not being funny here at all, but if you are intending to beat someone to death who might fight back you are much better off using a weapon that can be held in one hand and swung easily. Therefore a small wooden bat would be much better than a large aluminum or wooden bat. Also...what if we stopped making attempted murder a joke? Just saying.

Spoiler alerts!!! Seriously...when is Peter just going to destroy all the bad guys and take over the world? I mean, sure Sylar is a BA and all that...but his abilities don't come around automatically like Pete's do. If Peter in the future is angry enough to kill his own brother then he's angry enough not to suffer from "too-good-good-guy" syndrome and if he doesn't suffer from that...well he's the most bad-a** character on the show by far and should use it accordingly. Also...they never should have had time travel enter into the show. Once you do that it becomes much less fun by far.

I mean, as far as the multiple plot lines...it IS just a live comic book. Have you read any comics before?

This show is full of so many cliche's and plot holes...and yet it's still so entertaining. I hate it and love it. Spoiler alert!! Anyone see what's happening with Dr. Suresh? He's brilliant and now that he has powers he is becoming animalistic (strength, agility, sexual aggression) and now he's growing scales (so he'll be physically unable to blend in with the real world)...he is going to become exactly what Beast is from X-Men. Horrid writing in my opinion.

IAlertU if you have a Mac laptop. When set it uses the built in motion sensors to tell if your laptop is being moved (i.e. stolen) and sounds an alarm like a car alarm. Can also take a picture of the perp and email it to any email you provide. I have heard that IAlertU is no longer being supported, but the source code was made open source and that there are better alternatives out there now using IAlertU's source....only I can't find any of those alternatives.
