weird... i tried all the servers last night and i got all the same speeds. but they just put up a new one that doesn't have the download manager. with this download link im gettin 160 kbps. i already had over a gigabyte downloaded and i cant seem to continue the download with this link. frustrating. 'nother 4 hrs to go. woulda been 8 with the other one.

i left my FP download on overnight last night, to awake and find that the download had stopped and not much of it had finished. started it before i went to school to find that when i came home for lunch it had stopped AGAIN. im gettin awful speed right now. 40 kbps average and it keeps goin to 0 and then slowly goin up again. figured it was just b/c of all the people cloggin the servers, but your gettin really good speeds.

yeah, im feelin real good about my giants this year. i went to the superbowl (my dad knew the old owner of the redskins, whos dead now, but he always got us tickets every year) when they played baltimore and ive been crushed ever since. you forgot the chargers. they're 5-3!!!

Downloading the client right now. The way its goin, its gonna take about 10 hours. I'm gettin an average speed of 30 kbps right now on FP. This is gonna take foreva. I usually get 1-2, sometimes 3, mbps. Just saw you P'Med me Exile. Looks like your all good though.

I played EQ2 for about 20 minutes and I couldnt play it anymore. Just really boring. Yeah, the graphics are pretty good I guess. Technically better than WoW but I think WoW has better design and is much more pleasing to my eyes. Its just got personality to it as well which I find EQ2 sorely missing.

ehhh. not that impressed. i spent a good ten minutes tryin to smash up my car to no avail. i'd rather play burnout 3 with fake cars, but great gameplay.

Managed to snag a copy of this game today somehow. From the moment the game opens and a crooked cop who arrests you is voiced by Samuel L. Jackson, you know your in for a good game.

got into the EQ2 beta today. played for about 20 minutes. yeah, the game looks aright i guess but its just no fun at all. the game has zero personality compared to WoW. i probably wont be playin the beta at all anymore, so if anybody wants to check it out i'll give ya my key and all that.

yeah. well, when the cable guy came to install the line i wasnt home. so my jerk of a brother said, "hey, put the cable line in my room!" he doesnt even do any online gaming. and to top it off, he isnt even directly plugged into the line! he uses his airport for his mac laptop so there isnt any point to him havin the line in his room. and to top it all off, he just moved out last week!

well, i remember hearing bout open beta like a month ago. they said the sign ups were coming soon but theyre still not here. i played the stress test so im not exactly itchin to play on the open beta (besides, why invest all that time just to get your characters wiped?) but i only got to play the stress for a few hours and those few hours were some of the best ive wasted away playing a game for who knows how long.

yeah raising the rates that high gave me choke which i wasnt havin any of (just loss). I get the feelin its just my wireless connexion poopin out on me.

I know what your saying auggy. About how you feel that religious folk cant answer some of your questions. I was raised Jewish (by my fathers wishes... my mom is a christian) and I never felt like that when I went to Synagogue when I was little. My rabbi was awesome, not only because he has a sweet background (he wrote country songs for Loretta Lynn in Nashville!) but because he was a great, unjudging person. He is one of those new-school jews (whats the word? opposite of orthodox?) and I used to be able to ask him all sorts of questions without worrying about getting a condescending response. Once I even asked him if you have to believe in God to be a good jew, to which he answered a simple, "No."

I was expecting an bash-America fest in this flick but thankfully didn't get one. They don't let anybody pass through their sight and I like how they made fun of everyone equally. It had a couple of funny parts. I mean, nothin groundbreaking. I didnt find myself laughing that hard but it was funny in a way. I appreciate there are people like Matt Stone and Trey Parker who get us to try to lighten up a bit and use bad words for the sake of it, but I feel like Ive sorta moved past the "South Park" style of throw every profanity out there until somethin sticks. Their shtick is gettin kinda old. The faux-Patriotic country songs were a nice touch, complete with vocal-pedal-steel stylings. 79/100.

Okay, so the loss I get makes Source almost unplayable for me. It will spike up to 20, go back to zero and be aright for a while then spike up again. This is a problem with my connexion, right? Im hooked up to my cable service through a wireless linksys router which is in the room right next to mine.

Ehh. What an anti-climatic game. I'm a new yorker and was rooting for the sox (bitter Mets fan here) but I still wanted a good, close game. Kinda ironic that the one time a team comes back from 3-0 and its against the evil Yanks. Now thats karma.

hmm. i always seem to come across these funny internet things like two years after everyone else sees em.

i got a similar set up to y'all, 3.2 ghz pentium, x800 pro, with all settings at high and at 1280 X 1024 i get 60 fps steady (sometimes droppin to the 40s during heavy firefights with lots of physics action and all that goin on). its weird, even if i change the max fps and make it higher than 60, my fps just WILL NOT go over 60 . can someone explain this to me? i even tried lowering settings to medium, and changing the resolution to 800 X 600 and my fps got worse (not even close to steady 60 fps). whats goin on here?

yeah, thats how it was in the beta and i assume it will be the same in the final release. i guess they made it like that to prevent "griefing"? if someone could just run up to you at anytime and kill you, that would turn me off towards PvP but the way Blizzard is implementing it will prevent that kinda stuff.
