Heatsink is fine, clean and all, if the question is asking about overheating, thats not it. I did the whole check for temp. Every time it restarted, it was always on normal temp.

I saw it. I enjoyed it to an extent. These character stories are getting weak as of late. I think it would have been perfect if the director took a page from the other movie he made 'Independence Day' and made the whole movie revolve around more than just one family. This whole story pretty much took place in NY, and when not there it was just following the mom and dad. They should have maybe included a family from LA. The other reasearch guy in Scottland(?) was a good example of having more than one story.

No, just use a taperecorder, for the old fashioned way, or record it into windows playback thing, and I think it is hotkeyable to play on certain keys...Their are more choices, but he just wants to shield a guy, not make it a day-job =P

We don't get severe bad weather here...I hate it. We get a blizzard like once every 6 years, a weak tornado every 4 years, a beaten down hurricane every 20, and your weak-excuse for a downpour. Our temperatures are to perfect ranging from our wintery 20 to our Summer highs of maybe 90. To linear for me.

we used a lot of the older versions of the older Video card drivers before didn't work. Everytime the blue screen of death comes up (After I tell it not to restart it) it keeps giving me different drivers that are causing it. O well, worth a shot, but problem is the restarts can go far and few inbetween sometimes from 2 minutes to every 4 days.

I was thinking Knoppix or Mandrake. I need to learn a bit more Unix though =O

It isn't the RAM, I changed it 3 times already, same outcome, one of them was a different brand, and another was to slots of the same Memory. My mother board is the ASUS A7V8X-X, I am not to confident on that but it is definitately that series. Without or with the X. My other computer uses the same board with no problems. The other computer is basically a twin of this one, only it has a different video card, and the AMD 2800, not the 2500.

I am not a fan of anything. Right now windows has its own obvious problems, Mac has its limitions because of a smaller user base, and Linux is for more of the programmer side/computer savvy. Don't get me wrong, I like linux and all, but I would only use it for practice programming, it is no value to me otherwise.

OS is windows XP, re-installed, many, many times. Its not RAM because I ran this program from microsoft, yay for M$ Not overclocking, and no voltage problems. As for full system specs, I will edit this later with the directX diagnostic that has it all down.

I love running at people with a shield gun like mad, I know it looks funny when some one goes on and off the screen coming closer and finally just kills you, like some crazed person... Now whats funnier, silent sheild death or running at them, letting them know they are about to get killed.

I saw that, thought it was only for Reign of Chaos and TFT, O well. Now I feel stupid. I am just waiting for the open beta at this point.

After tireless hours of having to watch my work and games go to a black screen I decided to get to the root of the problem of my computers random restarting. Now I already have it figured out it isn't over heating, nor a bad memory module, now it could be the power supply but I doubt it with 420, and I have a low power using computer. I figure by now it is a bad driver somewhere. I want to know, does anyone have any issues with the nVidia Geforce FX 5600 256mb by chaintech, or any Asus motherboard? AMD athlon 2500 XP? Also I use a western digital harddrive and those have been failing on me lately. So any expirence with this problem or anytype of solution would be aprreciated.

Well the UT community will see my face more...and probably learn to hate me, but thats in the future If I can get my other clan leader to let me play on your team for a couple of league rounds, would it be okay? As for the CoD clan...I will look into that, I have 2 other friends who play CoD and they much better than I at this point. Bf1942 was more of my thing but they dragged me into CoD, and I play it when I find the chance, though I haven't found the mod for it yet.

Funny you should mention that. I suck versus a shield gun, my other weakness is the shock gun... ...Crap =P
