Well, I messed around with it last night and I think I will read the manual first. The camera controls were vague to me so I need to figure out how to set it up before getting too far into it. Movement is like Starcraft or C&C generals. The camera positioning is going to be critical for me. I hate a sideways view, need more of a back to front view.

Hey I was wondering if any of you guys have played Ground Control yet. It looks good but I have heard mixed reviews. It looks like it has awesome graphics but I have not played it yet so can't tell ya what the game play is like.

Hey, just a quick update on the 1.2 patch for FarCry. Do not load it if you have an ATI video card. The game will crash and boot you out of it if you do load the patch. Crytech was telling people to reinstall the game without the 1.2 patch and wait for a fix for the bug.

Hehe, mine did not cost me a dime either so when I decided to run cheat codes I did not feel too bad. Flying was pretty funonce you got the hang of it. I need to load it back up and play some more once I get tired of AAO. So I will probably load it up in a few years....LOL

Very interesting, are they planing on having this out sometime in the future? Is there just weapons mods or are they planning any maps?? I would like to see what they are planning but there is not much for information.

I played it for a long while and then I eventually went and found some cheat code so I could really hack some people up. The game is cool but long so I hope you really enjoy RPGs. I would recommend it. Good graphics and story line. Worth the money if you have it to spend.

Hehe, you can jump on -SOG-'s server and play, they have a good server. I would however recommend you play on their side or you will wind up as soil foder. They are tough and will kill you fast. So, best advice is to stay low and go real slow, no Rambos ever lasted very long on that map. Oh, and one other thing, to tag an objective you must hold down the "E" key on your keyboard. TheBugs, do we have a player???

Hey, just an update, we will be having our server up in a few weeks. We hit a stumbling block which needed to be removed. The SoG server is the next best thing. So, get off your butts and head for River Basin!!! One thing to keep in mind though: Keep yer head down and run.... Hope to meet some of you on the field of battle and what a glorious day that will be!!! HOOAH!

All Kill3r, I did get the memory up to 250MHz in the lab so I really don't think you will have an issue with pushing 245MHz. The timings were set to 2.8v, CL-2.5, Ras to Cas 4, Ras precharge 4. I know it does not sound like much but it was rock solid. About Fragfest04, I am tech support for Crucial so I can not make the call on that. the PCB and chips on the PCB bullet. Your HyperX is KHX3200, if its has an A in the code its not winbound chips, if theres no A its BH5. what IC's does your CL2 512mb memory have ? How well does it respond to voltage and overclocking ? Got any test result ? hows it compare to winbound bh-5 and ocz's EB micron memory ? All Kill3r, can't really tell you what IC's the modules have, they came to us with the heatsinks on. Sucks, wish I knew. How are the voltages on the modules? Well we are able to hit a FSB of 250MHz+ and it runs solid at 500MHZ. Really don't have any test results right now too new for us even to get out the results. I have personally pushed the modules over 250MHz in the BIOS with no issues. It will equal if not surpass the winbound and OCZ. We have not done a side by side so I am not sure.

I am almost done with FarCry. Awesome game, incredible graphics and good all around game play. The multiplayer in lacking, the graphics are the same but there is some serious need to improve that portion of the game. I hope the new patch will address this issue to give us an great game will longer playing time in multiplayer with more strategic senerios.
