FYI if you hadn't noticed already, rounds are now at 10 minutes/per. -Fk PS: If you jump in and out of spec, sometimes the stats will not catch your name and it will just list you on the stats page as "Player 10", or whatever - that number is linked to your GUID, so no worries, next time through it will pull your real name and all will be right with the world. Same thing with aliasing - stats will use the last name you used and updates after each map if there is a name change.

In this case, we are talkiing Dell Outlet. Essentially, not only does broken and then fixed stuff end up here, but also a vast quantity of refused shipments, or general returns as well - nothing wrong with the stuff - but it can never be sold as "new" again. I've gotten tons of good stuff from Dell Outlet - it's a good thing. More specifically, this is likely Dell doing a stock drawdown (as in new merch just dumped into the outlet) as they have a newer model out soon (2407 - very little real change with this one) How does it look? Most sweet. I nabbed three this past weekend with the original goal of flipping two of them around (so as my swag would be all but free) - alas, guilt pains of the kind felt when another human stares longingly at the coolness on my desktop - burning a hole in my soul as to why I did not hook them up. So, yeah..., monitor #2 is spoken for now as well. This is for number three - no takers here then this will end up on fleabay. I will naturally take pictures, no dead pixels, etc. before you get yours as it were. I have just had the time this evening to get mine on the desktop - haven't even opened the other two boxen yet (and will not have the chance until late Thursday night) My l33t desktop (pending a pci card purchase only two of the three are on - Dell 19" 1905fp's on either side of this monstrocity - that 30" wide must be all but god like...) Does DVI really make that much of a difference? I still use analog because that DVI cable is like $200 in stores. Ouch - don't go to brick and mortar for the cable if you don't have one - $20 plus shipping just about anywhere else online -Fk

I may let the gc hordes have first dibbage on a refurb (more likely new stock draw down) of the Dell 24" wide LCD - I got in on the insanity this past weekend (fatwallet, bensbargains, etc. folks know what I mean) Nabbed three - one for me, and orignally two for teh fleabay so me get mine for free - then I realized there is another person who lives with me who just maybe kinda wants some of this scratch as well, so my "free 24" lcd for me plan" is now gone (as those profits are gone) but I do have one left - I'll post up in the buy/sell forums (new post) when they arrive tomorrow (wed?) -Fk

Yeah - just got home and saw we are already up (Tom really is that good - he also covers the servers for beyondunreal.com amongst others) Need to up the tick, etc. so expect some downtime over the next hour or two Serversides work fine - just have to turn them on through the admin panel, then restart map (then remember to turn off once map is over otherwise ) As far as getting access to them - let me think on how to make this super easy -Fk EDIT: Revised logo in place, already set at 30 tickrate - have fun

Well, by solid he is flipping this over for our pub this afternoon (he did call me...) so if we are pimping our public server on the TWL infor page then go ahead and change it. The private is more vague. Longer version. He (and some others co-loc with him) decided to move. Still have some time with older provider. They figured they had time to make the move (over the course of weeks) Older provider starting to "have problems" (as in, did I accidentally plug too many servers into this power line and the power went out? Sorry...) They (Tom, etc.) are moving stuff over as fast as they can to minimize more "accidents" As of right now, the 280 and maybe one other box are all they have up at the new location. So he called, and the pub is going over there this afternoon. So when the private moves is more...eh... Next couple of days (next week?) it will happen but it will - just happen. Gave me a buzz, moving us early, said sure. He was getting 0 packet loss all week on his test server and a 28 ping from Austin. I'll probably have to adjust the low ping kicker to not kick Primus now seeing as he'll probably have a ping of 2 now (Hax!) Did I mention we are on an Opteron 280 now (Jeebus!) The private server will move some vague time later this week or next - that will be on separate hardware (Opteron 252) Right now, it will just be us on this monster iron, along with a token 12 man private. Tick rate bump from 25 to 30 for the foreseeable future Move happening this afternoon IP is 72.51.60.245 Dallas will be set for a day or two to one player, couple spec, with a spammed new location message. I've flipped it back to standard worst player rather than score per minute worst player. Hopefully this will finally knock out some false positive reserve kicks (I suspect the score per minute kicks get a bit twonked if someone goes spec and then comes back in - total guess on my part though) I beleive standard worst player is just kills vs. deaths though again, eyes gots no klues -Fk
