      Also, don't discount the people who will just hack on the engine and get a thrill in a few years when triple A titles on XboxOne and PS4 are running on UE4 with their merges in it.

      Lot more to work with on UE4 plus the source is *all* avail on GitHUb. So community patches/merges. It's gonna be nuts. The dif between UE3 and UE4 is github access to all the code and you don't need to run with a big upfront cash outlay to distribute if paid. Used to be a lot. Now it's just 5% of grosss and you can just do it *or* you can still negotiate a distribution deal (which would be a couple hundred thousand plus 25% of NET like UE3). It's basically a super pro version...
