I love the game. It has become my new Counter-Strike. I like to think that the Holidays are playing a big part in servers being slow. Along with the normal factor of when a good game hits the shelves people tend to play it non-stop for a while then the give themselves a break for a bit. Like any game once the mods and new maps and all start coming out it will pick up again. There are a lot of klans out there that have teams set up already. There is a match server config out also that I think most of them are using. You guys might want to look into it and perhaps we can work with that for a bit on my server to test the waters on match play in the future. Let me know what you guys want to do and I'll work with Unclean and Allanon to get more fun out of all this. I have to say I do like TF2 but I like this game more. Hardcore mode is more of a challenge but it will be cool to mix it up each week. I think you guys should really look into the multi-game mode config. I really like the servers that do that, it takes out the bordem of playing one particular mode.

Hey Pat, do you have Frapps? Get some video of it and lets take a look. I don't have that problem, the Heavy moves slow but I don't get the stutter. Anyways, just a thought, if we saw what your getting we might be able to solve the problem. Hope that helps.

Don't make me buy this game you stinking trators!!! (Wentz, Bushwack.) I don't want to pop out another $50 on this game. I have spent over $200 dollars on games in the last 3 months. I have better things to do-- (although I'm not quite sure what) than to sit in front of my PC playing video games all night. Or at least half the night anyways. Oh ya, that $200 was just on PC games, that didn't include all the XBox 360 games. So I guess that brings it up over $300 I think. I'm going back to Monopoly and Battleship.

This is how you start the match The next 2 images are what you see in every map. And this is all you see. And you don't get your created weapons, you creat a weapon from the first 2 classes. Obviously you dont get scopes, you do get the perks but you only get to choose from the Assault and SMG classes as far as guns.

? #1---how do you get to the keg of health and the berzerk I was thinking you could add jump boots under one of the stair cases so you could super jump up the stairs to kill someone. I just tried the Night vision mod on another server. DON'T USE IT!! Very limited vision, you don't actually see an opponent until he is practically on top of ya.

I wanna highjack this thread for a second, I need to know if anyone can help me modify an .exe file. They say to add this and add that to your .exe file and I don't know what they are talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh ya, I think you guys should rotate the stuff like you do with CSS. People like the change from time to time. Start working with some of the mods and throw them in from time to time. This night vision mod thing JC found looks pretty cool. It also has some in game modification to it that might be pretty slick. I was in a server not to long after the game came out and this server had a mod where you ran around and picked up weapons that were placed throughout the map and there were powerups and that kind of stuff in it. That was really cool. Just some things to think about to help keep things alive and different. We all know that after a while games can same ol--same ol you know. I say don't be afraid to try new things while the game is still fairly new. Ok, thats my 2 bits

I was looking at it a little today. I might play with it a little on my server and let you know. Its pretty much add in lines to the cfg. I'll post up when I have it loaded and if it works.

Ok, first off, I would just like to go on record as being the first to state how this game just didn't have it. We all waited and waited and waited for this awesome NEW UT3 game to hit the shelves. It was new and improved and its the most anticipated game of the year. Then they launched that despicable joke of a demo, not to mention they made thousands of server companies pull their hair out by telling them they have to run a windows server until they get their act together and come up with 2000 and linux patche. Then out came the game and it was chalked full of glitches, in everything from the server browser to crosshair issues to fps fubars. Now they come out with a patch that I'm not really sure does anything exept make the game look prettier for people with lower grade vid cards. They have taken the vehicles and screwed them up so much you don't even want to use one. Like I said, Epic came out with UT3 DeathMatch, and thats it. If you notice the only people playing this game are the hardcore Deathmatchers. Epic has managed to kill what was once called Onlaught and has catered to the single player and DMer's in the gaming comunnity. AND I STILL THINK IT PLAYS LIKE A CONSOLE!!! I played TF2 for about 10 minutes once. I thought at that time it was kind of sluggish and slow. Maybe if I sat down and played a little more I might like it but I'm not getting the orange box just yet so. However, I think you guys should check out COD4, NOW THATS A COOL GAME!!! How big is the file? You could probably put it on photobucket or put-a-file. Under 20megs and you might be able to e-mail it to him. I would be more than happy to host any files you guys want. I have 50 gigs of space just sitting here collecting dust. not to mention the 120 gigs of space I have with cybercitygaming. Just let me know if you need any.

I don't remember where i got this one from at the moment but I like the map. It is a big warfare map that has 3 different node configs. DL it and check it out in your instant action. Pretty big map but I like it, and it is the first new warfare map I've come across. Just thought you guys might want to check it out. When you install it I did it manually and here is how i set them up. Step 1. Take notice of the path!! Also, when you put them in and go to save you will notice a warning pop up. Something about it not being right or something I don't remember what it said. Just click ok when they pop up or it won't add them to your instant action maps to choose from. Also, do this first then launch the game for it to take. HOLY CRAP, CAN IT BE TRUE!!! Is it really my old mentor, has he risen from the ashes of what use to be UT!! I'll tell you what wentz, If this is really Hyperactivechipmunk, and he is going to get on board with this team thing you are trying to put together, then maybe I might be persuaded to join, maybe. All on the grounds that the old team will be back together. Maybe there is hope yet. I think I'm gonna have to change my sig tag. And where is this new movie you speak of ebits?

I like the game but the problem I am having is with the vehicles and the weapons. The weapons are slow and sluggish, and the vehicles are about as responsive as a turtle. I personally feel like this game is a modified version of a console game and Epic has turned Onslaught into a larger version of Team Death Match. Well, whatever, do and think what you want with this post but I probably don't see myself playing UT3 much. Here and there or maybe if they come up with some mods to it.
