I'm in love... totally happy with the game in every aspect I've encountered so far.

I just read that some of the HL2 team has offered to help develop Sven Co-Op II from the ground up!! W00t, developers need to learn the awesomeness of co-op play. Also Valve is apparently already working on a Half-Life 2 expansion pack and Half-Life 3 is planned, so expect another cliffhanger ending.

Serious Sam was the only game I can remember with a built in co-op feature and it was a blast, I'd love to have someone with me in HL2, sometimes I get spooked

I'm running in 4x AA and 8x AF, and it looks great I had to ditch the reflect all though to keep it from getting choppy near tons of water.

I've already seen some pretty cool star wars mods, but what I'd really like to see is a Co-Op single player mod.. I was hoping this sort of thing would be in game, I'd love to be able to play with my girlfriend instead of both of us playing seperatly, I end up spoiling things for her... Far cry is nice, I'd say the graphics are comparable but with one big difference, this doesn't need resources like fat women need twinkies, I get excellent FPS in HL2 with settings cranked unlick farcry where you have to dumb it down unless you're rich or something

I seem to get pretty good fps unless I'm around massive amounts of water, average about 50 ranges from 50-200 on a radeon 9700 pro.

I knew I should've stayed up till 2am to unlock hl. ARg you can play offline if already unlocked To play if you've unlocked already... Right click on Half-Life 2 in my games list and "create desktop shortcut" Disable your Local Area Connection (or unplug your modem) Close STEAM Double click the new Half-Life 2 icon on your desktop STEAM will load and try to authenticate, but obviously won't be able to, then will ask you if you want to start in offline mode. Do so. The game should start just fine ASSUMING you have already unlocked your HL2 files. Let me know if that works :rolling:

I like the AS and the AWP, they can be abused, but it's part of the game. I don't wish it removed. I've been practicing with the scout more and more myself.

I wouldn't unban this guy, his request didn't meet the criteria nor was his attitude very skippy... Just my 2 cents

The assault remakes are pretty cool, some of the other maps have really laggy parts in them tho.

I think it'd be safe to add italy to the evening rotation it's always a welcome map.

I don't know why everyone hates piranesi I love it, I think it's a well balanced fair map, with decent speed.
