You need to hope your on a team with tactics or you have good tactics . I was playing Compound yesterday on no scope and the CTs were more then holding their own. Some good CTs tactics are to smoke where your team can jump over the wall. Go into the building right there, up the ladder and try to take out the people in the bridge. Smoke the first entrance on the right and use the back entrance that is directly at the hostie shack. Hide inside of the CT spawn with a silenced weapon. People won't know where they are getting attacked from. Two good places to hide are at the left entrance in the dark or in the dark area by the shelves infront of the right entrance. Shoot out the wood paneling in the windows of the bridge. This will give the Ts less to hide behind. Run and hide in the little shack on the other side of the wall infront of the CT spawn with a silenced weapon. And if all else fails, smoke the main entrance and run to the hostages like theres no tomorrow. Granted, i have only played as CT once, but these are tactics that have gotten me killed as a T or i've used that have worked well on CT. I also have no clue how well these work on the scope server.

To manually add bots its, bot_add_ct or bot_add_t.

Thats why you should play in the noscope server.

Nothing is WRONG with my Geforce 5900. But i know theres people here with 6600s and x800s. So on a scale of this community, i'm guessing its on the lower end, though i could, and probably am, completely wrong. How did you know that was from Italy? Does that brown drab look give it away that easily?

I have a lower end computer (When it comes to HL2), Athlon XP 2700, 800 megs of RAM, Geforce FX 5900. I tried it earlier today with and without and didn't see a difference in FPS. If your processor is on the extreme lower end there might be a noticable difference.

I typed "mat_" in the console becuase i knew that was all the visual settings. Then i hit the down arrow until i saw something about brightness or gamma.

I didn't want too, but i had to post this one i took today. I really didn't want to turn this into a "show us your ragdoll pictures" but i guess its too late now!

I was going to say something but it would just be some whining. I really don't like it. With the whole sash thing and a vest that looks like its from Star Wars and that polygon shooting out on his right shoulder. I think i will stick with the old one.

cl_interpolate 1 or 0, or cl_interp, something like that. There would also not be a pile of dead bodies where someone is camping.

I lose everything when i close CS. Favs, history everything.

The command is cl_ragdoll_collide 1 I'm pretty sure by default it is off. What it does is pretty self explanitory; it allows ragdolls from dead players and hostages to collide with eachother. Causing corpses to pile up (see screen shot) instead of falling through eachother like they normally would. This is for people that want the game to look a bit more realistic. This might hurt FPS but i am not sure, i am not much of an FPS buff myself.

Do the people just keep leaving and rejoining, or is there more to it?

The models are the same size. Its just that the POV has been raised to the eyes. Before they were at the chest level.

Will the DoD server replace the Scopeless CSS server?

Theres some clipping on the shoulders i think.

I like Compound, but apparantly i am the only one with that opinion. But thats judging by the Steam forums and they will complain about anything.

I've had that happen to me once before too. Its a pain to throw grenades when your screen is skewed like that.

I think they buy them but just don't use them. Becuase when i play with bots and have it knives only. They will drop SMGs and stuff.
