  1. I know that I LOVE going to a concert. There is nothing better than going to a live show for a band. The energy is unreal and also the chance to meet tons of new people and interact with many. However, I know a couple of people that hate going to concerts. It gets very tiring and sometimes things get WAY out of control and I even know people whom have gotten hurt. Post up whether you love em or hate em. As well as post up concerts you have been too. Start new threads for concerts you are going to be attending and people will post their opinions and hopefully we'll get a review when the concert is over. Been to myself. 3 Metallica (pre 1998) 4 KoRn (98 and later) Hope to goto a Linkin Park very soon.
  2. Can someone get me a song, and post it here please, I'm looking for: Artist: Martin Sexton Song: Glory bound (accoustic) Thanks in advance!!!!!
  3. Hm..... I was watching Crouch Tiger, Hidden Dragon again for like the 100th time 2 days ago and really got into the foreign films thing. Have you guys heard of irreversible? Its supposedly a French Forgein Film that has like a 10 min rape scene and a scene where a guy is getting his head bashed in with a fire extinguisher. I think it isn't getting released in the US but there are tons of forgein films that are awesome! Kinda like Life Is Beautiful etc. Any suggestions?
  4. While Metallica and Disturbed hold my #1 and #2 favorite rock band spots on my list, you cant forget Dream Theater, anyone listen to them? Download The Glass Prision by Dream Theater, and you will be amazed!
  5. grrrrrrreat song. thoughts? just further proof that Jay-Z = best minus eminem.
  6. With all this rap stuff going on, LETS TALK ABOUT SOME OTHER KIND OF MUSIC! Well, I am from Oklahoma so I HAVE to like country... any one else? Yes I do have a cowboy hat, but no I never wear it.

Anybody seen it? Comes out today on DVD. Supposedly some special features and tons of extra scenes. Post opinions if seen it plz.
  8. and may you catch all the bad karma you deserve. And if there is right in the world, Steve Martin called it and the Teamsters will take you down! Did anybody see the Academy Awards and this bum? Anything good he might have done in the past with pro-american labor or sweatshops went right out the window as far as I'm concerned. 2nd Ammendment Chief
  9. I thought John Carpenter's old Vampire movie was cool. But Vampires Los Muertos was awesome. You should rent it if you like that kind of stuff.
  10. Good movie. Could have been longer, could have had more CT defeats. All in all, it is worth seeing (not with a date) in the theater IMO. Lots of knife play, decent story that they didn't try to cram too much into. It is an action movie with a motive that doesn't try to be too much more than that. It takes itself seriously and has good quality production without any of the political commentary or subplots that can really ruin a good ol' fashioned "guy movie." Chief
  11. If you own a cube and you dont own this game run to the store ASAP. If you dont own a cube consider going to buy one Game is awesome to say the least. I thought Ocarina was about perfection and then they topped it with Wind Waker. Lots of cool stuff and the game looks beautiful. Can't say enough about this game.
  12. I know of seen some people mention it and I just wanted to make a post here That was the game that kept me away from CS and I still play it from time to time. You can see how badarse my chars are I have 2 other 50s but one I sold and the other I just dont have a screenshot of it yet But here are my two badarse main characters
  13. Is quite funny. Much laughter, much female anatomy, very much like my life. Kind of. Maybe a little. Well, it's worth seeing.

  21. I love musicals. Anyone else like em? If so, what are you favorites? My favorites right now are Aida, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Beauty and the Beast.
  22. Is this guy as intelligent as he sounds..... Just listening to one of his songs wanksta. Another classic in the rap world.... His other "song in da club" another instant classic!!!! Sensing the sarcasm???
  23. Compare the country thread with the rap thread. It's amazing how the absence of ignorance and pigheadedness in the country thread can create a clean thread. "rap is crap" Even the title in itself is offensive. It's then followed by the bashing of an entire genre of music that has a very popular fanbase by people who have enjoyed how that kind of music has connected with them. It is then thrown again and again into generalization, throwing its fans into the fire in the process. It is then followed by lyric snippets that are often read into to create a conclusion in a person's mind that MOST lyric snippets will have the same negative connotations even though the person has probably sampled 0.004% of the entire genre's offerings. Talk about junk spewing from the uninformed and ignorant! Anyways, one can almost conclude that this individual doesn't understand the particular genre of music at all and is most definitely not willing to understand it. Which can easily support that maybe this person fears what they do not understand. What are the common things in people who fear what they don't understand? They usually produce: - Racists - Homophobics Both of which this person was accused of in other threads. Coincidence? Maybe, but probably not. But since we're making progress here in the analysis, we should start to see the pattern of using over-generalization and support of this over-generalization with "references" to other sources of "over-generalization" by this individual and then call them "facts that support" A person who tends to always generalize, will never take the individual differences seriously, which means he/she will never take YOU seriously. The only other recourse is to simply ignore with disgust and move on, since any other action, some of which may be highly desirable to implement, are illegal and would put some of us in prison if we were to act on them. Anyways, a key to progression towards self balance is to know when and how to generalize and when to take a unit in a large group into consideration. I think some of us lack this self balance and would profit from a little "self-adjustment". An imbalanced individual with power in a forum made up of individual opinions is an accident waiting to happen. As we have all witnessed. To add a polar opposite to that same forum with equal power will only cause strife between those in power and the individuals who are participants in the forum. A recommended course of action would be replace the individuals in power with someone who can be objective, impartial and balanced. That is all. Good day.
