A new engine for today's cars is going to run about 3-4k alone, rims and tires another 2k, frame about 5k, tranny about 1-2k. So we are close to 15k already and only have about 500 parts to go hehe. I do not buy New myself, I probably will never buy new unless I win the lotto, the loss from driving it off the lot is unreal nowadays. I prefer a nice used car myself.
