eXile August 22, 2004 Share eXile Member August 22, 2004 scared the bejezus out of me. i never get scared at movies, ever. but for once in a long time this movie freaked me. alot better movie than i expected too. i reccomend it. i actually like yelped at one part and freaked the people out in front of me even worse than they were already. check it out.... well worth the money. Also - it was not #1 last week, Hero had that spot, exorcist fell to 5th. Your review will make me watch it on video though, before that I would even have tried it. I watched Gothika with my wife a few weeks ago, and during one scene, I screamed like Mag would, and that scared her so bad that she almost fell off the couch So, is it just real evil and stuff? eXile September 4, 2004 Author Share eXile Member September 4, 2004 yeah basically ... takes place in id say around 1930's or later in africa. its just way freaky. the first one was scaryish but not beleivable because of all the crap they added(based on a true story). but still a classic. this new one is very beleivable in most all parts.
