Casper January 3, 2005 Share Casper Member January 3, 2005 hmmm, that means my Voodoo3 should do the trick! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was actually thinking about that when I found this... It's sad to see that a voodoo2 can handle it with decent framerates, however my 9200se almost throwsup at 640X480 with maxed out low settings. No bumpmapping. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yuck. looks worse than the original half life. I'm shocked that someone got it running on a voodoo anything and even more shocked that people still use them. Norguard December 27, 2005 Share Norguard Member December 27, 2005 That's phenomenal. Man, that must have been a CVAR/driver writing nightmare. Oddly enough, he'd be better off doing this in DooM 3 than in Half-Life 2. Half-Life 2's already optimized pretty well, and in DooM 3, there's easily less than half the poly count on-screen at any given time, than in Half-Life 2.
