Rashad December 1, 2004 Share Rashad Member December 1, 2004 (edited) Whenever I look down at the ground the in game audio becomes very distorted (crackly), and when I look back up or straight forward the distortion goes away. This also happens to me when I play cs: source. So if anyone could help me get rid of the distortion that would be great! Only thing that comes to mind is that it is sending the sound to your rear speakers when you look down and maybe they are not performing right. ConGregation December 1, 2004 Share ConGregation Member December 1, 2004 Make sure that you have the right setting in your options>audio. When I had it set for 5.1 but was only using 2.1, the dialogue was inaudible unless I was looking right at the person. Maybe it is sending sound to the rear speakers when there are no rear speakers.
