I just got it, and am trying to figure out what the heck I am supposed to be doing. This is the first mmorpg I have played...it seems pretty cool.

 

BTW you need bittorrent to download; I recommend Azureus if you don't currently have a bittorrent client, look it up.

It's only a the baseline game without any of the expansion packs (where most of the cool stuff is). The game was buggy as hell on launch, but it's had a great following. It's very gear dependent and you have to twink like crazy to be really competitive.

 

I played it religiously with my MMOG guild after we left DAOC, mostly bcs there was a lack of anything really fun to do. As far as MMOG's go... it's OK. But you really need a full guild to play the game, so doing it solo is feasible up until.... low 100s or so.

 

EQ2 is definatley alot better ;p
