Fatty July 7, 2005 Share Fatty GC Founder July 7, 2005 There's wireless. There's a room with PCs. And I'm pretty sure we'll have a data port in case we need them for the servers to validate.
Gond July 8, 2005 Share Gond Member July 8, 2005 If everyone you play games with is in the room why would you need internet connection?
shadow July 8, 2005 Share shadow Member July 8, 2005 CS is online only, isn't it? Or will we have a server for that?

Fatty July 8, 2005 Share Fatty GC Founder July 8, 2005 I just talked to the GM. The whole hotel is wireless, but there's also a dataport in the ballroom that we'll use to authenticate. Obviously, messing around on the internet while we're gaming will be restricted, unless you're going through your own wireless card.
Gond July 8, 2005 Share Gond Member July 8, 2005 I was just kidding in my comment. Probably won't matter if we use the data port or wireless...it all goes to the hotels same ISP. I'd assume the dataport is 100mb so we won't saturate it...Though I feel sorry for any poor sap trying to get their company email from their room when we fire up a good game...LOL
Fatty July 8, 2005 Share Fatty GC Founder July 8, 2005 I'm just talking about the LAN resources....we don't need anything besides authentication from the I. Even during a good game, we won't be hammering their network, only ours.
