Mustard's CoffeeMaker July 30, 2005 Share Mustard's CoffeeMaker Member July 30, 2005 (edited) Remember my Xterra? You'll have seen it like this at FF04. The following pictures are the result of the accident I was telling some of you about at FF05. For those that don't know, I was on my way home from work on the interstate one morning at around 3:30, when this person drifted over into my lane, and slamming into my right rear tire. I lost control of the car and it ended up rolling about 4 times. They drove off, and the police never found them. Note how the luggage rack is mostly ripped off. This pic shows most of the damage. The insurance company stopped estimating when they got to $13,000. In this one, you can see exactly how well the car held up. I walked away from this catastrophe with a nasty scratch on my chest from the seatbelt, and minor cuts and bruises on my face and torso, and unfortunately, a developing phobia of driving on the interstate. Moral; wear your seatbelt, kids. Seriously. Edited June 9, 2006 by Mustard's CoffeeMaker
becca48 July 30, 2005 Share becca48 Member July 30, 2005 That is good that it held up that well. It is hard to beleive that you were not really hurt that bad. I have a SUV. I love it. We had to get it because of the dog. I would not trade it for the world. I jsut wish that it was better on gas
