Gonna break these up into two threads. I took probably 700 pictures. These 8 I consider to be the best from the trip from an artistic standpoint. I will post many many more pics in the chit chat forums either later tonight or tomorrow for a more informational type thread.

 

So, let me know what you think of these.

 

1)I did some experimenting with filters and this one for some reason I really liked.

 

 

2)Delicate Arch - The most famous of them all

I do like the orange filter, adds a different feel.

 

And looks like you couldn't have choosen a better day.

bah, yeah I realized I used my old copywrite stamp...LOL

 

The one's I'm sending to the print shop have been updated with the 2006 stamp.

 

Saturady and Sunday were really nice days. 50-60 degrees, mostly sunny. My polarizing filter helped a lot with sunglare etc. Monday we got up and were going to go back into the park, but it was overcast and we were ready to head home.

Man this rocks. We so gotta go a bit farther north when we go back to New Mexico and Colorado. Hope to get my mom's manual camera back from my bro though, after he borrowed it for a Halloween play in 2004. The Great Sand Dunes were great when we went back west last year, except for the part with the digital camera getting full of sand.
