If you want to save some money, you should be able to fix it. The convergence chip probably went out in it. If not that, then the mainboard may be shot too. If it's just the chip then it will probably run between $100-$140. If not, the cost of the board itself is up in that range too, so there's that plus labor charges. If it is 5-7 years old then it still has a few more years before it reaches the average lifespan of a TV.
