Vsync

well u just want to turn it off for Open GL unless your run in D3D. If you made it that far, then its in there somewhere. And Its called Vertical Sync in case you thouht there was a box for V Sync :P

Its in your opengl advanced properties. Just go to Vsync and select "Always off". It comes default with "On By Default". Vsynch technically doesnt hurt your framerate so that it looks bad, its just keeping your fps the same speed as your refresh rate. Some of the best CPL and Cal-i players play with it on, they say its makes it smoother.

I play with it on. For me on my Geforce 4 Ti 4200, it really smooths motion. The game doesn't look as choppy and I think my aim is slightly better. If you have a decent monitor, go with vsync. My monitor is at 85 Hz at all times, which is plenty for me. I can't really notice the difference between 85 and 99 anyhow (which technically there isn't any, because you're only going to see how fast your monitor can refresh. Vsync just smooths it for you).
