pavid September 14, 2006 Share pavid Member September 14, 2006 How about GC FTP? As a member you're entitled to 50meg free to do with as you please. If you want me to set you up just PM me for an FTP Account. Include the password you would like to use in your message.
mookie September 14, 2006 Share mookie GC Alumni September 14, 2006 If the trouble is moving it all in one shot (i.e. losing the transmission halfway through) you could use DirectConnect which is a widely understood protocol mainly used by pirates (because pirates use the best free tools available usually), but easily adaptable to non-pirate use. You can get the client here: http://www.dcpp.net/ and a server if you need one here: http://www.dcdev.net/YnHub/ If you don't have a problem moving the file all in one shot you can use AIM or something like that. Either way anything not using a middleman (such as an FTP site) is going to require that at least one of you not be behind a firewall or a NAT.
