speedfan says my hdo is running to hot

haven't checked recently but i'd say 50c under load is max. my raptors typically idle at 32-34c.

 

make sure if you have more then one that there is a gap between them. each hard drive should have one hard drive thickness between it and anything else.

geez how cold is your room? lol my room temp is about 22-23c... though i do keep my drives in the back top corner of the case so they'd be a little cooler if i put them down infront of my intake fans.

speedfan or everest work pretty good.

 

 

edit - i just realized that hdo is hd0 as in zero. which makes it your primary hard drive. if speed fan says it's running too hot then it's probably over 50c which is scary for a hard drive.
