They have been back to the manufacturer and repaired by a technician and tested, which is better than what you usually get off the line. I wish they shipped to Canada... I figure I don't want to upgrade or spend much on this pc for another year or so and if this card is bad in a year then the $100 was still probably well spent. I got it anyway because it looked good for the price and Newegg has it Open-Box with a bigger heatsink for $199.00. Usually they sell it in pieces...the transmitter one week and the receiver the next from what I've seen in the past this system gets great reviews.
