JackieChan February 8, 2007 Share JackieChan GC Alumni February 8, 2007 If you haven't heard, there's a port of RE4 for the PC. I have it (obviously downloaded) and it's quite... interesting. There isn't any shader effects added so everything looks like it's all one brightness level everywhere you go. The graphics look a little better, the cutscenes are movie files (look like they're ripped from the ps2 or ngc version...) and theres no mouse support. You're left to basically use the keyboard only (yeah right), or get a controller for your computer. If you know where to get it, go for it. I'd say it's worth it if you liked RE4 on the console. I don't even want to think about it... There are hacks floating around the internet which enable mouse support for the game. Haven't tried it myself because I don't feel the need to since I have a PS2-like controller for my computer already.
