ZesteR May 15, 2008 Share ZesteR Member May 15, 2008 My rent's computer only has 256MB of DDR RAM. That's pretty sluggish for todays applications. My dad uses AutoCAD 2005 on it, and compared to his computer at work, he goes nuts just on the loading phase. I'd like to get some more RAM to help out their PC. but looking for a deal! Playaa May 15, 2008 Share Playaa Member May 15, 2008 talk to sj. He had a couple sticks sitting around that he was going to send me but never did. I no longer need them so if you can get him off his butt to ship them you're probably good.

dwEEziL May 15, 2008 Share dwEEziL Member May 15, 2008 No, mags is either saying that 1) sj probably won't get around to sending them to you either OR 2) regular DDR ram (for lack of something better, DDR1) for some reason is still fairly expensive; way more expensive than DDR2 and DDR3.
