aldan July 1, 2008 Share aldan Member July 1, 2008 I finally received my computer from my old residence in CA by USMail yesterday. The box was pounded to jello and when I opened it, I found that the faceplate had broken off the case and the side of the case was dented in. I'm arranging for a monitor to use (thanks, Wolfie!), but still am w/o a power cord, since my friend in CA forgot to include it. *sigh* However, because of the lack of power, I can't tell if the computer is damaged on the inside or not. I opened the case up, but other than pieces of plastic from the faceplate, could find nothing else damaged. Of course, computers are evil that way......... In any case, if you're buying some piece of major computer hardware, pre-assembled, I strongly suggest that you simply have them send it via FedEx or UPS. anonymo July 2, 2008 Share anonymo Member July 2, 2008 You should be able to find a universal power cord (pretty standard on all power supplies) for a $1 at your local computer supplier.
