Laz.e.rus October 1, 2009 Share Laz.e.rus Member October 1, 2009 When I do a full install of Win7 over the top of my Vista, will I also have to reinstall MoBo drivers, Lan drivers, etc? Full install, not a update.
Sedah October 1, 2009 Share Sedah Member October 1, 2009 what I did for mine was, I just did a full clean install of w7, and all drivers were all found and I just updated them to the latest one when I was able to go online
Preacher October 1, 2009 Share Preacher Member October 1, 2009 If you are doing a clean install all drivers will have to be installed. The good news is that most are contained in Win7 so basic stuff will not need to be installed. I would go ahead and DL all the drivers so that you have the newest ones on a flash drive or CDR. Then you will have so much less hassle later.
Laz.e.rus October 13, 2009 Author Share Laz.e.rus Member October 13, 2009 How does this effect my software? I have two drives on this machine. If I copy everything to the E: drive right now will it still be there and attainable after the install? I think everything on C: gets hosed, but will E be ok? I have been putting copies of drivers and other stuff on this drive for that reason. Did I waste my time?
