lousiest June 18, 2012 Share lousiest Member June 18, 2012 oh, you're rebooting the FF website?
Flitterkill June 18, 2012 Author Share Flitterkill GC Board Member June 18, 2012 If you go to fragfestohio.com right now you get a holding page. In a few days, stuff like this should be there... Dates/design subject to change of course. Old FF site still there, just insert /OLDSITE/ in the correct manner after the .com. The subsequent links you click will 404 of course until you again insert the OLDSITE bit. The IPB Photo Gallery has been improved and all the FF photos will appear here on the GC forums from here on out, pending that upgrade...
lousiest June 18, 2012 Share lousiest Member June 18, 2012 very nice the ffo fb page, while convenient, can never match a real website
Flitterkill June 18, 2012 Author Share Flitterkill GC Board Member June 18, 2012 Website is the anchor, GC for discussion and photo archive, Facebook for social blah blah blah... Website front page will be updated with news, sponsors, facebook widget, etc. but by and large the rest of the site is pretty static. It just needed to be done. I don't think the FFO site had been updated at all since maybe 2007 barring tweaking the dates and such. The last photo album created was 2007 and the recaps/history stop in 2009 (and 07-09 were just noted as "we had a good time" ...) This is of course all better suited for perhaps another thread as I don't think it relates too much to DynMap...

Flitterkill August 1, 2012 Author Share Flitterkill GC Board Member August 1, 2012 Probably a configuration setting. Easily changed but something at the back of my mind is telling me that if this is run on the game server itself there are probably performance problems and/or provider limitations.
