Biggs March 23, 2013 Share Biggs GC Alumni March 23, 2013 Check it out, the server has its first beacon ever, thanks to a combined effort to kill a Wither today! Since one of the effects that beacons can produce is 'jump boost', I'm building up a huge jump puzzle tower that climbs in a spiral around the beacon. Got it up to y=98 right now, but I'm planning to have it go all the way to the build limit of y=255.

ValenAlvern March 24, 2013 Share ValenAlvern Member March 24, 2013 (edited) That puzzle was dumb I think we should start a new world, LAME 10/10 would play it again. Pro-Tip: I would suggest highlighting my post, or quote it Edited March 24, 2013 by ValenAlvern

My final vision for this (not sure if I can make it happen) is to have this like a carnival game, you pay some fee to enter the puzzle and get a nice reward if you can get to the top. If I do have it up to the build limit some day, which would make the tower 140 blocks tall, maybe I could have checkpoints where a player could choose to cash in on a smaller prize, or continue and try to get a better prize higher up.
