It was announced in 2011 and all they have released is this teaser trailer? I'm pretty sure 2005 was when i first saw anything about GW2. Diablo 3 was announced and shown to the public for the first time in 2008. It came out in 2012. Guild Wars 2 started development in 2007 and was announced at the same time. 2009 was when they first showed it to the public. It came out in 2012. Even though it was pretty much five years between the announcement of the games and release they at least had gameplay to show within two years. [utube]0kqNp1fZ9xQ[/utube] It's also officially now Homeworld: Shipbreakers. Gearbox bought the license when THQ went bankrupt and they worked with the developer to get the name.
