BANNED?! For no Reason.

Unfortunately i've been banned for no apparent reason. This admin of GC MaestroPG, banned me because he said that i was doing the bot spamming. WHAT REALLY?! I was just in the middle of playing and suddenly banned for no reason. Here's my screenshot of me getting banned, mistaken me for some other player. I reported this right after i was banned. As said, i do NOT like this admin at all, and i'm pretty sure no one does too. Cant understand what he is saying and warn/ban people for little thing done as typing "!buy" in chat or chatting in chat box. Please confirm this and take me off the ban list. Thank You.

You were banned for a day. Bot spamming is when you repeatedly vocalize, causing the bots to reply to you and annoy everyone.

It is up to mpg to unban or shorten the ban. MPG did you demo this? Would be useful in the future since botspam is hard to zero in on

I did NOT bot spam any of that time, He'd probably overreacted and mistaken me for someone else. I wasn't doing the vocalize at all. As i stated above;

I was just in the middle of playing and suddenly banned for no reason

Btw, I did check the other characters and I followed all 3 of you closely and it was evident that it was you spamming and when you left the server, it's strange that the spamming stopped.

Presumably, you copied this from console - 'vocalize' does not get recorded here in text.

I witnessed you doing this, it was plainly evident as I said before. When you don't have possession of a molotov, or bile, there is no reason that you should be spamming that you are going to throw one; this is one of the many cases I witnessed your character doing.

People who protest, is giving their opportunity to stop what was done. I am saying this to give back what i did not do at all. If I may interject...

The "vocalize" command does not appear in console, but it DOES appear in command logs that myself and I think only Biggs and Nightling (apart from any senior admin) can access and I can attest that he was NOT vocalize spamming and it was someone else.

Whenever you vocalize (using the command or the radial menu), the character that is a main will vocalize it (although this may not be 100% true), even if the player controlling the main did not vocalize. Also, whenever a player dies, characters (not players) will auto-vocalize spam mourning the dead player which is a bug with the game because the number of survivors is over 4 and it can't detect it properly when it comes to auto-vocalizing.

Here is a snippet from the log from the start of Mess's console log to the point where he was banned...with all the unnecessary stuff removed so anyone who looks at it won't have to sift through 1000+ lines of stuff.

Is this stickied anywhere? Sorry I know I shouldnt be posting, but this SHOULD be common knowledge, and if an admin doesnt know, they deserve the right to know so this can be avoided.

Sorry for posting this has it contributes nothing to the ban and I am sorry, but I want to reiterate that this should be common knowledge with the admins. Delete my post if you want to, and I'll probably see something soon about not posting in the BANNED forums without being a witness to the acts.

"Spit and Die" was doing a lot of vocalize spamming.

I just updated the buy plugin to kind of circumvent this. If an admin types !vocalize in chat, they will see every player's vocaliztion they make now...except for the "smartlook" one because that gets used automatically whenever a player spots something like pills or a weapon.

If a player has a coach skin and spams his voice commands, then a random player with a coach skin will echo that command. It's not necessarily the player using it.

Mentioned it before.

MessWithTheBest you shouldn't be that offended when you got banned. You're still a reasonably new player and new players are just the first suspects when it comes to a mess like voice spamming.

Just remain calm and tell us your story, it always works itself out. No reason to get worked up about it. I'm pretty sure that if you hadn't typed this:
