New CSGO Server - Scopeless

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody, we've gotten rid of our unused deathmatch server and resurrected an old server from days past.

Stop by and check out Scopeless V3.0! IP - go2.gcftw.com

A few notes:

8 vs 8 for a smaller, quicker game.

Classic Casual - No FF, Free armor and kits.

End of map voting works. Five maps randomly picked from the map cycle are put up for a vote after the last round, and it actually goes to that map!

I'm sure there will be a few tweaks and changes here and there. If anybody wants to suggest more maps, feel free to do so here. Here's all the current maps:

anyone remember when we got a match together of scopeless server players vs scoped server players?

Yeah...those were the days. That server kept me super busy, and almost super divorced.....which ended up happening eventually anyways, so I should have just stuck with it! LOL.

Good luck with it guys, sounds like a lot of fun.

No but that sounds awesome.

It was awesome. Im pretty sure we had a group of players who were very loyal to one of the two servers, so someone people got into it.

That was probably around the same time that we got everyone together in the 5v5 tourny. Everyone who wanted in got their names in a bucket and teams were chosen randomly. We probably had around 7-8 teams if I remember correctly. I was paired up with Batman, Magruter, Ebil and Peklz.

I've mentioned trying to get it to happen again a few times. Everyone thinks it would be cool, but no one wants to take charge. Unfortunately I don't think I have enough time to manage it and see it all the way through until the end.

Holy crap I just stumbled into a time machine...

The team I was on actually won the tourny... http://gamrs.co/forums/index.php?/topic/27311-mcc-viii-finals/?hl=clan

and here is my sad attempt to revive it 3 years later http://gamrs.co/forums/index.php?/topic/38694-new-gc-community-event/?hl=clan&do=findComment&comment=471144

Tried to get a 10 man going which is leaps and bounds easier than running teams in a tournament and thay only happened once and peeps were in and out some leaving to CMM instead because it was taking "to much time to get started" But I'd be down for another 10 man attempt. Knife for team captains pick teams/ map/ sides and roll

I'll run a tracert to the ip, see how it looks.

Can you do me a favor? If it's the same, give it a shot anyway. I'm kind of wondering if the main server doesn't need a fresh wipe/reinstall...
