Slaphappy May 1, 2003 Share Slaphappy Member May 1, 2003 I have a MX300 with whatever logitec drivers installed my sensitivity is set to 1. and it's still too high. I've had it set this low before and I know it can go much lower. I can turn more that 180 degrees with one swipe. I tryed setting my mouse in windows to as slow as possible but that doesn't seem to help...acceleration is turned off. cs will not let me run my sensitivity lower than 1. Any ideas? dwEEziL May 1, 2003 Share dwEEziL Member May 1, 2003 There is a bug in WinXP though Slappy...even with the noaccel...I think it still does it some. Here is a link to disable the mouse acceleration in XP itself. http://www.tweakxp.com/tweakxp/display.asp?id=
Magruter May 1, 2003 Share Magruter Member May 1, 2003 So is that something that everyone should turn off?? An what does the accel do???
dwEEziL May 1, 2003 Share dwEEziL Member May 1, 2003 Accel (or acceleration) is the feature that the farther you move your mouse in one move the faster it moves. It can really screw up your aim in games. Normally, you can turn of mouse acceleration in your Windows Mouse properties but there is a bug or something in XP where even after disabling it, acceleration is still active. dwEEziL May 20, 2003 Share dwEEziL Member May 20, 2003 (edited) np Slappy. BTW, to disable the e-mail notifications, go to your Profile (click on your name), then click on "Edit my Profile", then in the left menu under "Options" select "Email Settings". Under "Board Preferenced", uncheck "Enable 'Email Notification' by default?" Hendryx, are you serious about your mouse? I have never heard of that happening due to that .reg setting.
