Attempted remake of a 1.5 to 1.6 / condition zero personal favorite

here is an overview of the 1.6 version

I'm 80% complete with the alpha phase and hope to get to 100% for testing by this weekend. ( no textures nothing fancy mostly just blocks with minimal cover like I did with de_canyon2 in the beginning.)

 

I'm not porting the old map in and reconfiguring or decompiling. I'm making this from the ground up so scale and timing will have to be fine tuned as I go.

ok so I'm thinking I'll be far enough along to play test this during SNC's 

 

 

here are some screen shots of what I have compared to what the old version looked like.  ( keep in mind I'm not trying to verbatim the map at all.)

UPDATE

 

Replaced the arches in mid with some better looking ones.  

Moved the statue from  the top of ramp/ red house area to mid and replaced its spot with  a waterfountain/monument

added sewer short cut from site A to castle street ( no screen for that yet)   

Replaced all the  boxes/ barrels in the red house courtyard area with a gaudy churchdoor type entrance ( and a bell)

added lattice over CT spawn

 

 

 

these are not  HDR screen shots so the lighting and shading will not look as good as final product.

Who said anything about Saturday ?  I'm rockin this ISH as soon as possible 

 

If the compile is right today when I get home and I have time this evening after church .... well lets just say I'm targeting tonizzie

Is the radar going to still work with the revised version?

it'll be good enough man  I dont want to run you ragged with new radars every week :D    Its too close to final to do another " get me by"  radar.

Its more I tell you I will do it when I am work and by the time I get home I forget. To make a "get you by" radar only takes about ten minutes. It helped when my old laptop had Photoshop on it now this new one doesnt

Here are 2 useful smokes for  A side- red house area

 

 

 

If you are a CT going to cover the ramp @ red house on the way you can chunk a smoke here before you get to fountain.  Just  a little left of that window right of the hotel sign. ( In this screen shot I'm aiming to close to the hotel sign you should be a little closer to window then the sign.)

Now as a T you can smoke that cart corner from T Spawn!

You'd have to practice and fine tune these smokes.  I believe the T spawn to cart corner is a jump smoke.   I'm pretty good on these spots but I've not perfected them yet.
