scubiedoobie August 20, 2014 Share scubiedoobie Member August 20, 2014 (edited) Often times we see people typing out !up, !buy, !points, !teams, etc. You get the message. My suggestion is, maybe we should make those client-sided so that only the person typing them sees? Because what's the point of making it public? I've found from playing many games that often times these are the most typed messages in the public chat, but they add no value and take up space. Would it be possible to hide the !commands so that only the person typing them sees them? What do you guys think? JackieChan August 20, 2014 Share JackieChan GC Alumni August 20, 2014 We did do that, but then people voiced the concern about new players not knowing the commands. They learned the fastest by typing what other people type in.
MasterTalpa August 20, 2014 Share MasterTalpa Member August 20, 2014 even though all of the commands i use are hidden, id rather much see the commands pop up. it lets me see whos actually using the buy menu, if nothing pops up, i assume no one is buying anything.
Protomanx13 August 20, 2014 Share Protomanx13 Member August 20, 2014 it can also be a strategy like a dead player type !sp <non-existing player name> all to trick the infected into thinking he wouldn't respawn
