slarfnar October 19, 2014 Share slarfnar Member October 19, 2014 I was asked if it is possible to get the case sensitivity of server based commands removed. Is it? I know even I sometimes type !Np 5 and there is no recognition, so I have to type it again... Doable?
JackieChan October 19, 2014 Share JackieChan GC Alumni October 19, 2014 Yeah, it's doable. I might see what I can do about it when I get the chance to. *edit Oh yeah, I only made the most common used commands that don't have an argument after it's command case sensitive (ammo, buy, laser, heal). MasterTalpa October 19, 2014 Share MasterTalpa Member October 19, 2014 before someone says make a bind out of it, why dont you use / instead? faster and easier in my opinion
MurderinClony October 20, 2014 Share MurderinClony Member October 20, 2014 Cant you do something Jackie where if the chat sees a "!" it takes all the stuff afterwards and then applies a tolower() function of some sort? This way only have a few commands rather than an extensive list?
JackieChan October 20, 2014 Share JackieChan GC Alumni October 20, 2014 No, at least not if a command has arguments after it. It's nothing I've been able to figure out at least.
