BlackYoshi April 25, 2015 Share BlackYoshi Member April 25, 2015 Just saw this on reddit, it would seem Valve has taken to selling user created mods to us. I think this goes against everything as a PC gamer. Opinions?
san` April 25, 2015 Share san` GC Alumni April 25, 2015 Steam is also taking 75% of the profit. I'd be OK with it if steam took like 10% and it was a donation system.

onyxdragoon April 25, 2015 Share onyxdragoon Member April 25, 2015 Majority of Valve games were mods before they became full games. Which is funny to me for some reason.

Protomanx13 April 27, 2015 Share Protomanx13 Member April 27, 2015 I see some positive and negative here. Positive is some mod will be more professional like better voiced and other publishers may consider opening their games up for modding. It wouldn't be the end of free mod since most people rather get their mods from Nexus and other site than Steam Workshop.
