PeanutButterNJelly July 6, 2017 Share PeanutButterNJelly GC Alumni July 6, 2017 Welcome to America ! I am currently in Philadelphia for a few days You should come to my house, when I get back to NJ, you can play L4D2 without the lag issues. Spend a few hours sightseeing, then spend the rest of the time playing. =)
TheDude July 7, 2017 Author Share TheDude Member July 7, 2017 I doubt my gf will appreciate that, but ill put it on the list next to visiting the empire state building. So far ive learned that traffic lights are more guidelines than rules.

Gardevoir July 8, 2017 Share Gardevoir Member July 8, 2017 And whatever you do, don't wear that "I <3 NYC" t-shirt. People were chuckling at me for wearing it, even though I was only 8 and my parents forced me to wear it.
TheDude July 8, 2017 Author Share TheDude Member July 8, 2017 Aww. Wasn't really planning on buying one. Went to the Lion King musical yesterday and it was one of the greatest things i've ever seen.
Carlos July 9, 2017 Share Carlos Member July 9, 2017 Ah. New York. I remember visiting there for a few days last summer as a mini-vacation. Central Park and the Statue of Liberty were pleasant sites! If you're planning on going to the top of the Empire State Building, make sure you're prepared for the cold and strong winds blowing against you if you do decide to step outside on the platform. By the way, I hope you're not afraid of heights like I was lol
TheDude July 14, 2017 Author Share TheDude Member July 14, 2017 Got lucky: no wind or cold whatsoever on top of the Empire State Building Just got back. Amazing trip. Really sad we had to go. Bought a baseball cap as a reminder. New York is seriously awesome. Who wouldve thought New Yorkers can be so nice. Also saw a huge rat just a few feet away when walking the street. Cockroaches, crazy people jumping on cars or lying down in the middle of a busy street. What's not to like.
Carlos July 14, 2017 Share Carlos Member July 14, 2017 I saw a McDonalds bag lying down on the sidewalk during my trip at New York. Someone couldn't be bothered to place it inside a garbage can
