[Mmmm]Homer November 4, 2003 Share [Mmmm]Homer Member November 4, 2003 I use Nero for burning too, came with my Lite-On CD-RW. Short of using a spare hard drive to put a Norton Ghost or Drive Magic image (or just the entire contents on) on burning can be ok. Just be sure to back up everything you'd need to rebuild your pc: Latest drivers - mobo, video, sound, lan Windows SP1 E-mail (I also create a file with my e-mail setup info for pop and smtp server) Address book (search for *.wab) ICQ/AIM other programs and login info My Documents and/or other data Photos including nudes of Fatty Game updates and patches App updates and patches (like Nero's update) CS maps CS config Savegames Favorites mp3s, etc Your favorite 'gotta install little apps' A spare hard drive in a removable tray (around $15) is what I use and saves me dozens of CD-Rs and hours of burning. Watchtower November 5, 2003 Share Watchtower Member November 5, 2003 You may want to compress some files to save you some space.. Gigabytes=much CDs.. Homers extra HD option is a good way to go as well.. DVD burners are only $130 now.. THat would get it done..
