(yeah, yeah im a protestant) Im all for the idea of being remorsful for sins and wishing to do anything to absolve them, but isnt that what Christ died for? this guy had interesting views, ill give him that. Trouble .gc February 17, 2004 Author Share Trouble .gc Member February 17, 2004 paying for penance, like paying to be forgiven for your sins...the priests would have the people buy tickets to lessen time in purgatory for family members. i guess he wrote it because he thought that what was going on was silly...i duno, i just had to read it, not sure why.
