All US servers went down for a few hours, and now there is a new update, 39.31 MB worth of an update. No news yet on what the patch does.

it is a remake of the Unreal Expanded Multiplayer (released by Epic for Unreal 2: The Awakening). The team working on the mod is comprised of veterans of that game, as well as a couple who actually worked on the UXMP. It plays much like the Half Life mod Team Fortress. I tried out the beta 1.0 release and to tell the truth, it's far from finished. However, my experience was severely hampered by the fact that every server with people on it lagged horribly. The game itself looks good.

Post up the servers you play on and the character's you play with there. No need to name all your characters (if you're like me and have around 10). Just the characters you use most, or one's that you would want to use more if you can find a group. I've started quite a few characters and never had one past level 10. I want to find out where most of you are so I can pick a server you're on and get just one good character. Also, what skills are people using? I like the Horde over the Alliance, humans are really the only race I had fun with as Alliance. Wednesday, December 15 at 12:40 AM, my first child was born at Iowa Methodist Medical Center here in Des Moines. God blessed my wife and I with a little girl, 6lb, 10oz, 19 1/2in long. And like her dad, she's got big hands, big feet, and lots of red hair. She also seems to have inherited her dad's complacency. She is the model baby, alert, quiet, super-cute, and cries really only when she's hungry, and it's a quiet cry even then (most of the time). Oh, and we named her Angel LeAnn. Labor was easy (relatively) for my wife, pushed only 40 minutes, and when she came out it was the most amazing feeling I've ever had. I can't believe how much I love her. If I can ever pull myself away from WoW and the baby long enough to download/upload pictures, I'll post some.

well, I'll try out a NE priest tonight. We need to set up a place/time to meet so you all can power level me.

really? I'm playing as a troll shaman and I haven't seen all that many of them around. But, you guys have been playing more, anyway, they are a great class.

Wife just gave me WoW as an early Christmas present. I'll be installing it after work tonight. (so, around 3 am Central time) Who's playing Horde and on what servers? I'm going to start playing as Horde. Anyone have any pointers?

Finally the day Free Monkey Interactive promised a release of UTXMP has come, and guess what. They actually released the mod on time! I know, it's a concept way beyond the times and it will probably never become commonplace among software companies. Anyway, this looks to be the best mod for UT2k4 yet. These guys are an awsome team with lots of experiance under their belts. I've just finished the download, so I'm going to make this short. The Free Monkey Interactive site is here. works fine for connecting to the internet, even downloading over the open ports. Downloading off http sites like Fileplanet I get between 300kbps and 3mbps. I just can't get in to the router to open some ports I want open for BitTorrent and so I can host Warcraft III games.

same thing, just a white page that simply says "Error 401 Unauthorized" in the top left

seems like weight is the big giveaway on quality, BUT, you can't test that out when you're buying online. if you are online, go to a computer shop and find one you're interested in and hold it, then order online. I use a Thermaltake Purepower 420watt and I love it. Great fan placement, super heavy, and good looking.
