Heres a new map that could get some quick games: ONS-DG-Fallout Its a very small map set on a post apocalyptic island. Very pretty . The alternative node setups could also make the map more challenging. So give it a whirl!

At the Hayward gallery in London they are exhibiting work of Dan Flavin. Flavin used fluorescent lights in a minimalistic compostion to portray his subject and ideas. I kinda hear ya' on the PvP. Not a big fan of it too. But I think it'll be a fun weekend and it'll give you some insight into the Factions pack and whats to come. So I think ill try it out. Anyone else?

Guild Wars From Jan 20 - 22 you will be able to try out the next chapter in Guild Wars in a global PvP weekend. The next chapter will bring two new classes: Assasin and Ritualist. You will also get the chance to explore new PvP areas and training grounds. Whats great about this is that you dont have to own the current game to take part in this. And any account/character you create you will be able to use once you buy the retail Guild Wars: Factions. Guild Wars: Factions is due to come out 2nd quarter of this year.

Yeah I mos def could see her named Jackie. Reminds me of my friends mum named Jackie. Who we also called Whackie Jackie heh. So I presented that name to the wife and she was like Jackie is a persons name not a cat name (and she wasnt looking for names in the baby book at the bookstore). So we got talking about it some more and came up with Caley. Which comes from the Calico cat breed mixed with Cassie. So there you go Caley it is

I could see calling her Jane. Wouldnt be a bad name to have. We ve had her a couple of weeks now and got to give her a name soon. Otherwise she ll be stuck answering to 'Oi' and 'Hey you yeah you with the fur'.

A few days before Christmas I come home from work. And my wife looks at me and says 'Dont be mad'. So Im standing easy waiting for her to tell me she broke something. But instead she takes me to the bedroom and opens the door to reveal a shaggy long haired tortoiseshell cat. She told me the cat was in a box that was duct taped up and left on awaiting her on the porch. So we cleaned her up some fed her and gave her some attention (boy she loves it). Groomed her fur cos it was all noted. We also have 3 other cats so for the time we kept her seperate. We took her to the vets. He thinks shes probably 2 years old The vet checked her belly out because it was large. He couldnt decide if she was pregnent or had gas. Its possible its gas though. She has let em rip a few times. So we re gonna take her back in a few weeks. At time of writing the other 3 cats have got used to her and no longer hiss at her. Shes eating well and her belly is getting a little looser not much smaller. Hopefully she is just bloated inside. She really loves attention and follows us everywhere. She even spends time on our laps when our other cats ignore us till we feed them. So we finally have a lap cat. Here are a couple of pics: 01 , 02 We have yet to name her. So we ll consider any ideas you guys have.

Yeah they are an odd effect. And its something you would have to adapt to to enjoy. Because its a little different. I remember seeing the effect on a couple of tv commercials and yeah thought it was odd . But hey this split personality plot thing sounds messed up. So if its done well it should be a good movie

This movie wont be out for awhile but I wanted to spark some interest. For you sci fi fans youll recognize Philip K. johnson (Or not if a lang filter is active a link there if you dont). A Scanner Darkly. Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder, Robert Downey Jr, Woody Harrelson, Rory Cochrane. Theres more info+trailer there. And it looks like they put an animation filter kinda thing over the real acting. So that should make any special effects added blend in good. I would think.

Im sorry to admit I havent seen 'It's a wonderful life'. Reminds me that a friend has invited the wife and I over to watch that sometime. So I hope to see that sometime before Christmas too.

The M5 looks good. Nice design and display. Also a quick Froogle search gave me some pretty good prices. With newegg mentioned at a competative price. It also brought something else to mind. The FLAC media type. I havent given that much consideration. But I hear that it rips music to the highest quality but takes up more memory. A 20GB HD should handle a lot of FLAC files np. But I dont mind spending the money too much because I know Ill use it often and I want to keep hold of it for a good few years too. So thanks JackieChan Ill keep that one in mind too
