One of my clan members had a similar problem with the map de_train, and what sucks the most about this, is we have a clan match tomorrow and the map is de_train. Heres the solution that fixed it for us dudes at WoA: Go to your valve folder then click steam, then click steam apps, then click the folder with the name with your steam username then (eg bigbones100) find counter-strike source click on it and press delete this refreshes your steam css and it most likely works Just incase make a backup file of this folder. Hopefully this should work, and it seems easier than fidling about with the RAM. Let me know if this gets you anywhere, bb

Oh BTW where's my clipboard? (I'm serious) Where ever you left it I dont actually know where it is, its a temporary file created by windows I would assume. By clipboard I ment that it saves it in the computer, for example, when you copy a steam ID for the consol in cs, it must be saved somewhere for it to be pasted later. My guess is that its somewhere in the RAM, as when you restart its gone.

Look for the Print screen button on your keyboard. On mine its abbreviated to: Prt Sc, and is located towards the top right. This will save the screenshot to a clipboard. To actually view the picture, you will need to open a program like 'paint' or 'MS Word', then click on paste to paste the screenshot. If you want to cut out a small part of the screenshot I would paste in paint, if you want to save a load of screenshots in one file, i would choose MS Word. That should help

One of my favourite peices of administration on the server was a while back on dust. CTS were in double digits, Toka.gc came over to Ts and said 'If you do not rush you will be banned'. The result: The whole team rushed, the whole game evened out, the rounds were much shorter and everyone had fun. Maybe we should encourage admins to do this! I personally have no problem with gc/mmmm/csls members all stacking one team. There all friends and want to play together, why shouldn't they? I'd be happy to go onto the loosing team for 4 maps solid, it will improve your CS skills much more. And if you end up getting battered, dont check the stats page for a couple of days till your back to normal,(if the stats mean so much to you) My last agruement: I blame magruter alone for team stacking, he can go from a strong CT side to weak T side, and turn the whole game around literally by himself. To solve this problem we need another skilled CS player on the other team, possibly people like simkiller,cujo or bigbones

Uninstall and reinstall is an easy solution but with so many updates out now the updating process takes longer and longer to complete, so sometimes posting on the forums is a quicker way to fix the problem.

If only i wasn't banned I would love to play on the custom map/s. To solve the problem of the same maps being played all the time, i propose the idea of the map vote containing an alternating selection of maps that can be voted. For example, if you were to have the map vote on the last round of a map, a few maps could appear: dust, aztec and office. Only 1 of the favourites can be picked (to prevent overplay). At the end of the next map when the vote appears again, you could have the options of different maps, lets say: dust2, prodigy and train. If it is possible then I think this idea could be a kind comprimise between users who like some structure to the map cycle and users who like the freedom of choice. However I have noticed, whilst on the gc servers, that if the majority of people don't want to play the map, an admin will change it to another map, so this voting maybe unnecessary in the first place. <Waves his hand in the air, slowly turns round, does a mooney to the crowd, then bops off back to the gc compound>

Back to the original point of the topic: Go to the top of the statue of liberty. Get the 'virus maker's' family jewels and firmly secure them to a long piece of elastic bungee rope. Tie the other end to a nearby pole. We're going a bit off track here arn't we. So far we have heard duma's story of his past, future and present, and now someones gone off and killed themselves. At the moment, I've had a change of thinking, I'm only going for an hour a day of CS, so all should be well.
