I noticed earlier that you get kicked after one ff kill? is this here for a reason because sometimes i find myself doing accidental ff kills, say for example, when someone walks infront of me when im firing. Could this be changed to the same settins as the other server? I love the new server, keep up the good work gc guys, i appreciate you lot putting up the servers and maintaining a nice atmosphere!

Riteo, iv just ran some more anti virus software called 'stop-sign' dont know if anyones heard of it, but its detected a few viruses: C:../RESTORE/TEMP/OPTIMIZE.0 trojan.dyfuca (sry bout language there lol) C:../RESTORE/TEMP/FIXT 16.0 trojan.downloader.1576 theres also a trojan.downloader.1729 and 1577 All infecting the restore/temp/... files What now? previous virus detectors have prompted me for a password whilst getting rid of viruses in these files

Iv tried the virus scan link, however when i click on 'start scan', nothing happens. I think my problem has esculated, i'v tried using system restore, the window opens, but instead of the usual restore options and dates, i just see a blank white box. I'v tried windows updates, but i cant install them, the links wont work (surprise surprise) Im thinking about reinstalling windows ME, however i do not actually have a windows ME disk, i just have the system recovery disks that wipe your harddrive and reinstall factory settings. Is there a somewhere i can download windows ME from so i can reinstall it without loosing my hard drive contents? At the moment im going to try and reinstall the anti virus software, check the quarantines and send all the removed files back to there original places and see if that works thansk for your help so far btw, bb

I'v had a few problems recently after running some cheap anti-virus software on my computer thats more than likely deleted some important files. As i'm a computer n00b, I dont know what the actual problem is, but i can describe some of the difficulties im having if anyone could help: Firstly, relating to the gc site, I can no longer see the menu bar containing the links: home, news, forums, servers, downloads etc. When i click on the smilies (to the left whilst writting a post) they do not appear in the message i write. One of the main problems, which happens at every start up, is where 'Active Desktop Recovery' page appears, (which usually appears when the computer is incorrectly shut down), does not actually restore my desktop, no matter how many times I click on it. When I right click on the desktop, and manually change the background, it will remain as that background till the next restart, where once again the same 'Restore Active Desktop' page will come up. In general I think its mainly to do with links and buttons, perhaps java but i really am unsure Dont know if this is enough information for you to make any conclusions, but I'd appreciate it if anyone could help me. Perhaps the simple .gc membership for reserve slot should give people the power to kick? For example, when acid flux is playing he always has to run back and fourth from cs to these forums to ask for a ban. People like aicd, who are trusted, and have the basic membership package, could help with the simple administration duties of the server whilst the proper admins arnt there. It wont give them the full admin package, just the ability to kick, and if these people enjoy their new powers, it may be an incentive for them to get a move on and buy full membership Just a suggestion Peace out, a town, da da da daaa, da da da da daa, in the club with my homies...

on other servers when someone its TK'd, the TKer's money is given to the guy thats been TK'd. Is it possible to introduce this here? -it would make players watch their fire more -it decourages intentional TKs -Hey, it might also be worth being Tked if the guy has 16k to give you Theres a mod out called 'MugMod'. After knifing a guy, not only do you make him want to cry, this mod will allow you to take 30% of his cash. This might spice the knifin's up in this server! Just a couple of suggestions that might make a difference Also, when typing in the command: 'timeleft' using chat, i'v noticed that sometimes the time remaining is displayed and at other times its not. Also, sometimes when typing in: 'nextmap' this sometimes displays the next map and the time remaining, or at others just the next map. Anyone know whats going on here? I personally prefer just typing nextmap to recieve the next map and the remaining time as it saves typing both commands. Also, the server blowout works when it feels like it. The timelimit isn't always set to 1 when the blowout limit is reached and the map remains the same. Can this be fixed? Hope this has helped, peace

If CTs are getting owned quite badly then you could (as a last resort) climb up the storage shelves in the hostage rescue building. Ts dont look up there often and it offers you a dark place to hide whilst rushing Ts try and flank the slow moving CTs.

Yesterday me and WoA gave g1 guys a 6v6 scrim and it was quite a laugh. Got plans underway to give MwR a game maybe next weekend as well. If more clans wana join these 6v6 scrimming sessions let me know so we can get things organised. If we get possibly 6 teams of 6 together ill organise the matches and try to find servers where there going to take place. So far the G1 guys are winning as they owned us silly, lol post back if your interested bb

Well your in WoA now, and I suppose your CS life hasnt changed much? Clans are basicly a group of players who get on well, and play well as a team. More organised clans will enter leagues and battle other clans, which is what im hoping WoA will soon be doing. The most enjoyable thing about being in a clan during the matches is probably the aspect of team work. A group of players co-operating and communicating with each other very well will often improve the teams chances of winning, and will bring in new aspects of the game that you will hardly ever experience on normal public servers. On a whole, clanning is fun, as long as the clan your in is going somewhere and doing things.

Can we just end this stupid topic. A small misunderstanding has occured and its leading into a big arguement that can have fatal consquences (gang wars, drive-bys, etc). Toe was unlawfully banned and should feel upset as i witnessed all his complaints about tks and so he moved over to the T team to stop being tk'ed. End of story, i say you close this topic

Whats a bomb runner?

Last night an admin, I think it was fatty, tried to launch dust 3. I think this is a brilliant idea, especially when the server is packed with the regulars. Its random, fun, and a break from the same old maps is always welcome in my opinion. It took me a while to download half the map from the gc server, as everyone else was also trying to download the same map, and eventually we returned to office as no one was downloading the map fast enough. Perhaps you should use the 'Downloads' bit of the gamerscoalition website to allow users to download custom maps like de_dust 3 from the website and not the gaming server, so if random maps are played everyone wont have to wait for the maps to download. Its just a suggestion but it may tidy a few things up bb P.S lets get more custom maps thrown in from time to time

You have a fair point, but still why discuss this topic and say what the outcomes will be when we can just do a small tester and view what will happen. I know that G1 wanted to do a little friendly 5v5 battle as long as it was well organised, and thats precisely what im trying to do, organise things....

In addition to what I just said i was wondering how do you get your clan to appear in the clan rankings? Enough of WoAs members appear in the normal rankings yet not in the clan rankings. Is the clan tag '[WoA]Followed by name' not being detected by the pyscostat software or do I need to register the clan with a gc member????? please help BigBones

Can you explain to me the difference between a wise-man and a wise-guy I think the server policies here are outstanding, and sometimes I find it hard to believe that the majority of people disagree with these policies. The spirit amoungst members of this community is high and this is the way to keep things, as we have a great bunch of regulars playing on these servers I think I can now call Recrudescene my second home Peace...

Im willing to organise this league if you give me the go ahead! I've just started recruiting for my WoA clan, and iv spoked to other small clans in the server like -[rB]-, G1, Mmmm and their members said that they'de be interested in some friendly clan battles. Im happy to arrange matches, log the scores and publish the results, however, would it be possible to use one of the servers for the matches?
