(sapphire X800) If I lived in the U.S. I would have tried one of these, but Newegg does not ship to Canada so if I had a problem it would have been a nightmare! Look at it this way, if you spend the $200-$300 dollars & get a X800 equivilant for a couple of years your way ahead of the ball game! By then your going to have to upgrade again anyway.

Are you talking about "out of date" ? that's on # 2 as well. The reason why your not hearing it is because everyone is going to stock (# 1 )

Unclean, I have heard a lot of good things about both cards. A number of people I play with use the x800. I bought a x850 xt & I'm really happy with it, though that's out of your $300.00 price range. If I'm not mistaken you play UT2004 right? Check out these benchmarks for yourself....keep in mind these are for PCI-E cards. I'm guessing your looking for AGP. I find CSS totally addicting!! Can't seem to get enough despite the repeated beatings I recieve in game.

M2, I use cl_lagcomp_errorcheck 1 because mine is set at 0. I find this makes a big difference, but I have to change it every time I play. It always defaults back to 0. Anything I can do about this? Will this happen if I change all my settings to what you suggested? Also is there a way that I can save all of them as a setting so I can just type in one command and I can switch between default & these new settings without having to manually reset each & every one?
